A Little BIt of This...A Little Bit of That and NO Caffeine

So, I decided to hit the gym on my day off. I don't suggest anyone who is first starting the LiveFit Trainer to do that, but since I've just completed it I knew an extra day in week one wouldn't hurt. What did hurt was the fact that I worked out with my double shot of espresso! I was dying in the gym today! It was seriously a struggle to push through my workout. My workout consisted of a mini-workout of the whole body (except my shoulders and abs since I worked those yesterday). I did two exercises for each body part. The no cardio thing is getting to me too. The first four weeks of Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer requires you to eliminate all cardio. This is for the sole purpose of making sure you're building muscle and not burning the calories your body needs to help the muscles grow (muscles growing = faster metabolism). For me, just two weeks ago I was incorporating five days of cardio into the Trainer, so to go from five days to zero is HARD! A lot of people who first start the Trainer have a difficult time giving up the cardio, but it's vital that you TRUST the program and stick to it the way Jamie designed it.

Now, about my caffeine! Holy Moly! So, since I ran out of coffee yesterday (Amazon should have my new order here tomorrow...THANK YOU Amazon Prime!), I have gone the entire day without a single drop of caffeine. Tonight, I'm paying for it with a headache. I should have known better and just grabbed a coffee from McDonald's or the local coffee shop earlier.

Today I wore my new shirt from http://www.etsy.com/shop/firedaughterclothing and it's soooo cute! I think I want more...in different colors! I just LOVE the message this shirt has. I needed this message as a teen/college age/20's when I was fighting eating disorders. This is the message we need to be teaching our daughters. Who cares about skinny. Be STRONG and HEALTHY. I love it. I almost want to change my blog name to: STRONG is the new skinny. Can I do that anyway? Change my blog name? Anyway, here is my new shirt:

Before I go, I found a new yummy! I use a cup of plain greek yogurt, two truvia packets (stevia....a natural sweetener), and a capful of vanilla. Mix all this together and it ALMOST has a homemade whipped cream taste. Then add blueberries and granola (the brand I just tried is Bear Naked). It's a lot of food, so it's great to use a small meal. Here are the nutritional facts:

Calories: 276
Fats: 2.5
Carbs: 36
Sugar: 14
Protein: 28

It's almost like a dessert. It's really good and it's a pretty big serving! Here's a picture of all the ingredients and my bowl from earlier today:

Hope you all have great weekend! Take care!
